The vocabulary is the warning

Every one of those words comes from banking. Savings and Rates in particular describe a deposit that earns a published return. In France that is a regulated activity with capital requirements, a protection scheme and a supervisor. Nothing about putting the word “on-chain” in front of it changes the regulation — it only changes who is protected, which is no one.
PSAN, and why it matters
Any business providing digital-asset services to people in France must register with the AMF as a Prestataire de Services sur Actifs Numériques. The register is public and searchable. A registered provider appears in it. Coinstancy appears on the other list — the one for sites operating without authorisation.

An older domain is not a safer one
coinstancy.com was registered in February 2022, which makes it a veteran compared with the two-month-old sites elsewhere on the same blacklist. That is worth noticing for the opposite of the usual reason. Age normally buys a checkable history: filings, audits, a regulator, press coverage, resolved complaints. Four years in, this operation has an AMF blacklisting and no registration. The time was available; the compliance was not.

The demo dashboard is populated with a fictional user and placeholder balances. That is ordinary in software marketing and not damning on its own. It matters here only because it is the single most detailed view of the product a visitor gets before creating an account — the screenshots do the work that disclosure would otherwise do.
How to check a crypto platform in two minutes
Search the name in the AMF’s PSAN register and on its blacklist, both at amf-france.org. Ask which regulated entity holds client assets and whether they are segregated. If a platform offers “savings” and quotes “rates”, ask who guarantees the rate and what happens to your money if they cannot pay it.
The verdict: Coinstancy uses banking language — savings, rates, wallet — without the registration French law requires, and sits on the AMF blacklist. Do not deposit.
