Verdict up front: CryptoVault presents itself as “The Ultimate Crypto Wallet”, a platform with staking rewards and fast exchanges. Its homepage gives a registered office at Level 11 Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 9HA. That is the published head-office address of Ofcom, the UK communications regulator. The FCA put CryptoVault on its warning list on 6 July 2026.

An office inside a regulator
The address appears in the hero section of cryptovault.exchange, directly under the sign-up pitch: “Registered office address: Level 11 Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London, England, SE1 9HA.”
Ofcom’s own contact page lists its London head office as Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 9HA, the same building and postcode. A crypto wallet start-up does not share a floor with the broadcasting regulator. The address was chosen to look solid, not because anyone works there.
The FCA warning
On 6 July 2026 the FCA published a warning naming CRYPTOVAULT and the website https://cryptovault.exchange, with the same Riverside House address. The FCA says:
“This firm may be providing or promoting financial services or products without our permission. You should avoid dealing with this firm and beware of scams.”

Whose name is in the footer?
The homepage headline says “Cryptovault”, but the footer says “© 2026 PRA Group. All rights reserved.” The FAQ also calls the product by that other name: “PRA Group offers a simple staking option…”. So the site uses one name in its headline and another in its footer and FAQ.
We are not suggesting that any real company called PRA Group is involved. The point is that the operator either copied the site from another project without cleaning it up, or does not want its real name on the page. Both are bad signs for a place that asks you to deposit crypto.
Six months old and “now in beta”
RDAP registration data shows cryptovault.exchange was registered on 21 March 2026, so it is about six months old. The homepage still has a “Now in beta” badge. It advertises staking rewards, but names no custodian, no licence and no company number.

Staking offers are the hook
“Stake your tokens and earn rewards” sounds harmless. But on an unlicensed site your “staked” balance is only a number in a database the operator controls. When you try to withdraw, the usual next step is a request for a “network fee” or “unlocking charge”. Do not pay it.
The verdict: CryptoVault gives an address that belongs to Ofcom, credits its site to a different name in the footer, and has been publicly flagged by the FCA as unauthorised. Do not deposit crypto with cryptovault.exchange. If you already have, stop sending funds and keep every transaction hash.
