If you have lost money to a scam, you are probably searching for help right now. That is exactly when sites like Cyber Law Solution LTD (cyber-ltd.com) find you. It calls itself a “Cyber Law Firm” offering legal help with “fraud to account hacking”. New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority warned about it, and the alert went out on IOSCO’s international alerts network on 13 August 2026.

How to check a law firm in two minutes
Every solicitor firm in England and Wales must be authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and must show its SRA number on its website. It is the law, not a courtesy. Cyber Law Solution shows no SRA number anywhere. A firm with a real office in Stockport would also give a landline and a street address, not only a mobile.
You can search any firm for free on the SRA register and the Law Society’s Find a Solicitor tool. If a “law firm” is not on either, it is not a law firm.
The second scam after the first
Recovery scams follow a pattern. They promise to trace the money, open a case, or contact the scammer’s bank. Then come the fees: an opening fee, a court fee, a release fee. Each payment is lost again. People who were scammed once are often scammed a second time this way, because the hope is so strong.
- Never pay upfront to a firm you cannot find on an official register.
- Real lawyers send a written engagement letter with their regulator number.
- Do not share your bank login or install remote access software for anyone.
- If you already paid Cyber Law Solution, tell your bank and keep every message.
⚠ Cyber Law Solution red flags
- Calls itself a law firm with no SRA number.
- Only a UK mobile phone number.
- Targets people who already lost money.
- FMA New Zealand warning, 13 August 2026.
Our verdict: a recovery operation posing as a law firm, flagged by a regulator. Do not pay Cyber Law Solution.
