WestiQuant AI Targets Canadians, BCSC Warns

WestiQuant AI flagged by regulators

WestiQuant AI (westiquant.com) says it was built with Canadian investors in mind and watches global markets around the clock, filtering thousands of data points and acting on qualified signals automatically. The British Columbia Securities Commission flagged WestiQuant AI on 21 October 2026, and the alert was shared through IOSCO’s I-SCAN.

The sign up form on the homepage asks for your name, email and mobile number. That is the real product. Sites like this collect contacts so that a sales agent can call, open an account for you with a partner platform and coach you into deposits.

Careful wording, real risk

The footer calls WestiQuant AI informational technology and says it does not promise returns. That wording is meant to keep it outside the rules. But a site that offers automated trading on qualified signals to Canadians needs to be registered with a securities regulator, and the BCSC says it is not.

If you filled in the form

  1. Do not install any app or remote access tool a caller suggests.
  2. Check any firm on the Canadian Securities Administrators register.
  3. Report the calls to the BCSC.

Our verdict: an unregistered AI trading lead page aimed at Canadians. Treat WestiQuant AI as a scam.

Canadian rules are clear on this point. Any firm that trades or advises on securities for people in British Columbia must be registered, and you can check that in a minute on the national registration search. A brand that is only months old and absent from that search should not get your phone number, let alone your savings.
