Verdict up front: Zero Investment Trading has passed 500,000 installs on Google Play. Users describe a screen that shows them earnings and a withdrawal button, a $200 minimum, a form for their bank details — and no way to pay money in. The privacy policy governing it was written for a slideshow video app.

An economy that only runs one way
The clearest description of how this app works comes from its own reviewers. Google Play marks every review below as verified.
“Literally every action I spent more time watching ads than actually using the app… There’s no deposit option, only ‘withdraw,’ which is a huge red flag for any app claiming to be related to Forex or trading. How can you withdraw money you never deposited?”

“I can’t withdraw my money. I struggle a lot and I reached the minimum amount 200$. I fill the bank details but there is no option of transfer. It’s totally fake and waste of time.”

Two things are worth pausing on. That $200 figure is the same threshold users report on an unrelated developer’s trading app. And quieter, more serious: I fill the bank details. People are typing their account details into this.
The same three ingredients, over and over
Every Play listing carries an App Support panel holding the developer’s website, email and privacy policy. Four of these apps, from four different developer accounts, give the same three things: a free Gmail address, a free web.app subdomain, a free Blogspot page. No company. No address. No regulator.

The two rows in red are the finding. Amazing Video Status and Slideshow Vid Maker are separate developer accounts on Google Play, and they publish the identical contact address and the identical privacy policy link. Two storefronts, one operator.
Read the policy and you learn what these apps really are
Open the privacy policy for a trading app with half a million installs and this is the first thing it says: it is an agreement between you and “Slideshow Vid Maker”. It is dated 2 October 2022.
Across its full text — just under 5,000 characters — the words withdraw, payment, deposit, funds, money, bank, trading, invest, earnings and stock appear a combined zero times. It is the boilerplate from a video-slideshow app, pasted onto products that show people a cash balance and ask for their bank details.
⚠ Verified evidence
- Zero Investment Trading (
com.tradeup.learntrading): 500,000+ installs, 55,600 reviews, rated 4.4, contains ads and in-app purchases, updated 2 August 2025. - Its App Support panel lists a
web.appfree subdomain, the Gmail addressvideomakerappsinfo@gmail.com, and a Blogspot privacy policy. - That policy is dated 2 October 2022 and names its operator as “Slideshow Vid Maker”.
- It contains no money vocabulary at all — withdraw, payment, deposit, funds, money, bank, trading, invest, earnings and stock each appear zero times.
- A second developer account, Slideshow Vid Maker, publishes Zero Fund Invest Trading using the same contact email and the same privacy policy URL.
- Two further look-alikes — from Techno Apps Development and Learning Tool — follow the same Gmail /
web.app/ Blogspot pattern. - No company name, registered address or regulator is named on any of the four listings.
Did you give this app your bank details?
Tell us what happened. One email starts it — no form, no phone call, no fee.
Or write to us directly: support@reclaimdc.com
Include the app name, the balance it showed you, any details you entered, and screenshots if you have them. Never send passwords, private keys or seed phrases — nobody needs them to read your report.
If you already entered your details
Treat that account as exposed. Tell your bank what you handed over; if you gave card numbers, ask for the card to be replaced rather than just watched. Then uninstall the app.
Be ready for the second approach. People who use an app like this often hear from someone offering to recover the money. Anyone asking for a fee up front, or contacting you first, is the next stage of the same business.
The verdict: we are not calling this developer a criminal enterprise, and no regulator we checked has issued a warning about it. What the public record shows is a finance app with half a million installs, an interface that only ever pays out and never takes payment in, a $200 wall nobody reports getting past, a bank-details form behind it, and governing terms borrowed wholesale from a slideshow video app. Ask yourself what is actually being collected here, because it is not deposits.
