Adar Capital Borrowed Two Real Firms and Three UK Mobile Numbers

adarcapital.pro returns DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN, stamped SCAM BROKER by ReclaimDC

Most clone operations borrow one firm’s identity. Adar Capital borrowed two. The Financial Conduct Authority named both of them in a warning first published on 7 October 2022.

What the FCA published

The notice is a clone alert, published 7 October 2022 and last updated 20 July 2023 — nine months of active life on the record. The FCA’s wording for clone cases is fixed: “Fraudsters copy the details of firms we authorise to try and convince people that their firm is genuine.”

Two authorised firms were being impersonated at the same time: Sky Blue Wealth Management Ltd (FRN 923363) and Partners Capital LLP (FRN 475743). Neither has any connection to this operation. Both are on the FCA register, and both are victims of it.

The name “Adar Capital” belongs to neither of them. It was invented for the purpose.

Five domains and three mobile numbers

The FCA recorded five web addresses against the operation: adar.capital.pro, adarcapital.pro, adar.capital, adar.cc and adarcapital.cc.

It also recorded three telephone numbers: +44 7537 121012, +44 7418 605180 and +44 7441 393371.

Every one of those is a UK mobile number. Not a switchboard, not a landline tied to an office, not a number that has to be leased from a building. Three pay-as-you-go handsets can be bought for cash, used until they attract attention, and thrown away. A firm managing other people’s capital does not run on mobiles, and the choice tells you what the operation expected its lifespan to be.

Where those addresses lead today

We checked all five on 11 September 2026.

adarcapital.pro, adar.capital and adar.capital.pro return nothing at all — no DNS record exists. The addresses are gone.

adarcapital.cc still resolves, but the server behind it answers with a 504 gateway error from a web application firewall. Nothing is being served.

adar.cc resolves and loads — as a Chinese-language video streaming portal with no connection to finance of any kind. The address was released and picked up by somebody else entirely.

So of five addresses that once solicited investors, three are deleted, one is broken, and one now streams films.

What to take from it

Two things, and both are checks you can run in under a minute.

First, a firm reference number proves nothing on its own. Anyone can copy an FRN onto a website — that is the entire clone technique. The number has to be looked up on the FCA register by you, and the contact details you then use must be the ones printed on the register, never the ones the caller supplied.

Second, look at how a firm can be reached. Three mobile numbers and no landline is not a presentation problem; it is a statement about how long the operation intends to exist.

Verified evidence — checked 11 September 2026

  • FCA clone warning for Adar Capital, first published 7 October 2022, last updated 20 July 2023.
  • Domains named: adar.capital.pro, adarcapital.pro, adar.capital, adar.cc, adarcapital.cc.
  • Telephone numbers named: +44 7537 121012, +44 7418 605180, +44 7441 393371 — all UK mobiles.
  • Authorised firms impersonated: Sky Blue Wealth Management Ltd (FRN 923363) and Partners Capital LLP (FRN 475743). Both are genuine, both are on the FCA register, and both are victims of this operation, not part of it.
  • “Adar Capital” is not an authorised firm and no firm of that name appears on the FCA register.
  • Domain status: adarcapital.pro, adar.capital and adar.capital.pro return NXDOMAIN; adarcapital.cc returns a 504 firewall error; adar.cc now serves an unrelated Chinese video streaming site.
  • Anyone who dealt with the clone has no Financial Ombudsman Service access and no FSCS protection.

REPORT A SCAM FAST

The pattern repeats across every case we document. A clone of Five Rings Capital LLP answered on an Aberdeen number while claiming a City of London address, and Finalto was copied five separate times in eleven months.

Our verdict

Adar Capital was a name with nothing behind it, pointed at two real firms’ credentials and operated from three mobile phones. The domains have since been deleted, broken or sold on, which is the ordinary ending.

The warning does not expire with the websites. If anyone contacts you using this name, no part of the 2022 notice has been withdrawn.

If you sent money to any of those addresses, tell your bank today and report it to Action Fraud. Payment routes remain traceable long after a domain disappears.
