Verdict up front: Expert: Options Trade Signals promises daily trading signals on Apple, Tesla, Bitcoin and EUR/USD, free, from an unnamed expert. Its release notes, published two days before we checked, describe something else entirely: profile avatars, photo attachments on notes, and a switch between list and grid view. That is a notes app’s changelog.

The changelog belongs to another app
Every Play listing carries a What’s new panel written by the developer for the release the user is about to install. Here it is in full:
“Profile Avatar: Personalize your account by taking a photo or selecting an avatar from your gallery. Enhanced Notes: Attach photos or images to your notes using your camera or gallery. Smart Search & Filters: Quickly find what you need and filter notes by type. Flexible Views: Switch easily between vertical list and grid layouts.”

Three of the four items are about notes. None is about signals, quotes, alerts or markets — the four things the description says the app does.
There is an innocent reading, and it is not reassuring: the trading listing is a re-skin of a generic note-taking template, and the release notes were the field nobody remembered to rewrite. Whoever shipped this is running a build pipeline, not an analyst desk.
What the listing promises
The description is confident and entirely unsourced:
“Daily Signals — Receive fresh trading ideas every single day. Our signals cover Forex pairs like EUR/USD, popular stocks such as Apple and Tesla, and leading cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum. Each signal is carefully crafted to help you spot profitable opportunities faster.”

Note what is missing. No analyst is named. No track record is published. No win rate, no sample of past calls, no method beyond the word “Expert” in the title. The only expert claimed is the app’s own name.
It is also, the listing stresses twice, “completely free!” — which raises the only question that matters about a free daily signal service: who is paying for it, and what are they buying?
Published under a personal name
The Play developer field carries an individual’s name, Jan-Heinrich Behnk, rather than a company. There is no registered address, no firm and no regulator. The same account also publishes an app called Demo Trading.
A one-person publisher is not in itself a problem. A one-person publisher issuing daily buy and sell calls on Apple, Tesla and Bitcoin to five thousand strangers, with no track record, is a different proposition.
The disclaimer says the opposite of the pitch
At the foot of the same description: “All trading signals and educational materials in this app are provided for informational and learning purposes only… Always do your own research or consult a qualified financial advisor.”
Read the two halves together. The top of the page sells signals that help you “spot profitable opportunities” and alerts that fire “the moment the market moves in your favor”. The bottom says none of it is advice and you should ask a qualified adviser instead. The disclaimer is not a caveat on the product. It is a denial of it.

How to check an app like this in two minutes
Read the What’s new panel before the description. It is written for existing users, not for the store, so it gets the least polish — and a changelog describing a different product tells you the listing is a wrapper.
Then look for a name. A service that will not identify the person making the calls, or publish a dated record of them, is asking for trust it has given no basis for.
The verdict: we are making no allegation that this app has taken money from anyone — it charges nothing, and no regulator we checked has named its publisher. What the public record shows is a Finance-category app issuing daily buy and sell calls on real assets to five thousand people, published under a personal name with no track record, whose own release notes describe a note-taking app. Free is not the same as harmless when the product is a trading instruction.
