The scoring rule

This is the single most useful sentence on the listing, and it is not in the description:

“The app records a trade as having ‘booked profits’ as soon as the contract picks up any gains at all, so all trades are recorded as positive. If you stick around long enough you’ll notice the inconsistency. Some unsuccessful swings and leaps get buried below notifications. The support and resistance features listed under tickers are too wiiiiiddeeeee to provide actionable intel.”

Cagri Ozuturk, 31 October 2023 — 443 readers marked this helpful

Think about what that rule produces. An options contract that moves a cent in your favour at any point in its life has booked a profit by this measure — even if it then expires worthless. Almost every contract touches a gain at some point. So the scoreboard fills with winners while the account fills with losses. Nothing needs to be faked; the measurement simply cannot record a loss.

A second reviewer, two years earlier, on the same thing

“The only issue is that I wish that they would also show the losers too (which there are) instead they just show the winners. Also I wish they would make it easier to see if they reached any of the target prices.”

Tushar Patel, 10 November 2021 — 245 readers marked this helpful

This is a positive review. He likes the app. He has still noticed that the losing calls are not on display and that you cannot easily check whether a target was hit. Two of the three most endorsed reviews on a one-million-install listing describe the same absence, two years apart.

The part that costs money on its own

“Whereas it is very easy to start a membership it is very impossible to cancel your subscription. They do not allow you to manage your own subscriptions!!!! It’s dishonest and fraudulent.”

GNGTNT, 6 May 2026 — 18 readers marked this helpful

Worth knowing regardless of what you think of the signals: a subscription bought through Google Play is always cancellable from the Play Store itself, under Payments and subscriptions, whatever the app does or does not offer inside its own screens. If an app tells you otherwise, cancel it at the store.

What the description promises

The listing offers “1-5 signals sent daily” covering “scalps, swings, and leaps”, plus “Lotto” and “Meme stocks”, with stop-loss and take-profit guidance on every alert. Lotto is the trade desk’s own nickname for a near-expiry option bought as a long shot — the listing is not hiding what a portion of this is.

The same publisher runs four more signal apps: Trade Signals – Stocks Options, Options Alerts – Swing Signals, Flow Greeks – Unusual Options and Flow Trades – Options & Stocks. The Data safety panel declares that Financial info and Device or other IDs are collected.

How to check a signals app in two minutes

Ask one question of any performance record: what closes a trade? If the app decides when a position is booked, and books it on any gain, the win rate measures the rule rather than the results. A record worth reading is timestamped at entry, timestamped at exit, and includes every losing call.

And cancel any subscription at the Google Play Store, never inside the app that sold it.

The verdict: we are not alleging Gamma Greeks has stolen from anyone, and no regulator we checked has named it. What the public record shows is a million-install paid signals app whose own top reviewers say every trade is scored as a winner, losing calls are not shown, and the subscription resists cancellation. A scoreboard that cannot record a loss is not a scoreboard.
