Habitoltd — Borrows a Real UK Firm’s Company Number

Habitoltd homepage stamped SCAM BROKER — flagged by ReclaimDC

Verdict up front: habitoltd.com presents itself as “Habito Ltd”, “a safe and secure trading platform” for crypto, forex and stocks. The company number and London address it shows belong to a real UK company, Hey Habito Ltd, and nothing suggests that company has anything to do with this site. Germany’s regulator BaFin warned against habitoltd.com on 7 August 2026.

Whose details are these?

The site gives “Registered Company Number: 09384953” and “Registered office: Broadwalk House, 5 Appold St, London, EC2A 2AG”. Companies House shows company 09384953 is HEY HABITO LTD, incorporated on 12 January 2015, with that same Broadwalk House address. The site has copied a genuine firm’s public details.

The genuine Habito is not the subject of this report. This is a clone site, and the only subject of this report is habitoltd.com.

Every badge at once

habitoltd.com says it “is a member NYSE – FINRA – SIPC and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission”, and that it has been “Authorised since: 7 January 2016”. That is a US stock exchange, a US self-regulatory body, a US investor-protection fund, a Cypriot regulator and a US derivatives regulator, all claimed by one website with no licence number for any of them. The domain was registered on 29 June 2026.

What BaFin said

BaFin’s notice of 7 August 2026 groups habitoltd.com with two near-identical sites, fidentiwealth.com and bluebirdsrl.com:

“According to BaFin’s findings, the operators offer banking services and/or financial services without authorisation there.”

⚠ Verified evidence

  • BaFin warned against habitoltd.com on 7 August 2026 as part of a series of near-identical platforms.
  • The site uses company number 09384953, which Companies House lists as Hey Habito Ltd, a separate genuine company.
  • It claims NYSE, FINRA, SIPC, CySEC and CFTC status with no licence numbers.
  • It says “Authorised since: 7 January 2016”, but the domain was registered on 29 June 2026.
  • The site was live on 21 September 2026.

How clone sites catch people

Clone sites count on you checking a name, finding a real company, and trusting the website. The real test is whether the regulator’s register lists this exact website. If it does not, the website is not the company.

The verdict: habitoltd.com uses a real UK company’s identity to sell trading accounts, and BaFin has flagged it for unauthorised financial services. Do not deposit. The genuine Habito is not the subject of this warning.
