Meryon Capital (meryon.com) sells gold and forex CFDs on MetaTrader 5 to Chinese-speaking traders under the headline “精准量化,捕获黄金波动溢价”, precise quant trading to capture gold volatility. BrokersView listed it as a likely unlicensed broker on 3 September 2026. The domain was first registered in November 2001, long before this brand.
Dinners and summits for big clients
For institutional partners the site promises “收益稳定结算,无隐性考核”, stable settlement of returns with no hidden assessment, and for wealthy clients “私享晚宴、国际峰会、体育赛事”: private dinners, international summits and sports events. Hospitality is a sales tool. It is not a substitute for a licence.
- Do not top up an account to qualify for a higher tier or an event.
- Ask for proof of the Barclays account in Meryon’s own name.
- Request a full withdrawal in writing and keep the reply.
- Report card payments to your bank promptly.
The verdict: a St. Vincent shell, extreme leverage and custody claims with nothing behind them. Do not deposit with Meryon Capital.

Barclays custody, by its own account
The safety section promises: “Meryon 将资金托管于国际顶级银行 Barclays,并投保专业责任赔偿保险(PII)”: client money held at Barclays and covered by professional indemnity insurance. No account name, insurer or policy is given. The site is “owned and operated by Meryon Capital SV LLC”, a company in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where the financial regulator does not license forex brokers.

What a St. Vincent LLC really means
The Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has said publicly that it does not regulate forex brokers.
Companies registered there as international business companies can open a website the same week, with no capital requirement and no supervision of client money. That is why many unlicensed platforms choose St. Vincent and then describe themselves with the language of institutional finance.
