Awards older than the website
The homepage lists “Best Mobile Trading App — European CEO Magazine 2019”, “Best Forex ECN Broker — UK Forex Awards 2020” and “Best Trading Conditions — Forex Report Magazine 2021”. The domain those awards sit on was registered in February 2026. A broker cannot win prizes three years before it exists.
‘Supervised’ — by whom?
The site promises “segregated and supervised client funds”, “negative balance protection” and managed portfolios built “to target … the highest returns”. It never names a supervisor, a licence or a licence number. The only company name is “RepublicanFX Markets Incorporated”, with no country and no address.

Binary options in the job description
RepublicanFX describes itself as a group of “elite binary options” traders. Binary options are banned for retail clients in the UK, the EU and Australia because of the scale of fraud around them. The contact details are a New York-area number, 1-929-274-1552, and an email on the same domain.
Who is being targeted
The warning came from New Zealand, but the site is written for anyone, anywhere. If a broker cannot tell you which regulator supervises your money, the answer is none.
What to do if you paid RepublicanFX
- Stop paying: no further “fees”, “taxes” or “upgrades” to release money.
- If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
- Keep every email, chat, receipt and wallet address.
- Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police cybercrime unit.
- Ignore anyone offering to “recover” your money for an upfront fee.
The verdict: RepublicanFX shows awards from before it existed, promises supervision it cannot name, and New Zealand’s FMA has warned about it. Do not deposit.
