‘(e.g., by FSCA)’

Under “Regulated & Secure” the site says TG Markets “is fully licensed and regulated (e.g., by FSCA)”. “e.g.” is what a writer puts in a draft before filling in the real detail. A licensed broker states its regulator and licence number. TG Markets gives an example.

How to check an FSCA claim

South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority runs a public register of authorised financial services providers. Any firm it licenses has an FSP number. TG Markets shows none.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • Listed on the BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list.
  • Licence claim reads “(e.g., by FSCA)” — no number.
  • No company name or address on the homepage.
  • Leverage up to 1:500.
  • Domain registered 26 June 2022.

Hedge-fund liquidity

The site promises “the same deep liquidity pools used by billion-dollar hedge funds”. It names no company, no address and no director.

‘Get paid like one’

The slogan suggests that trading with TG Markets is paid work. Trading is a risk to your capital, not a salary.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.

What to do if you paid TG Markets

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: TG Markets left the placeholder in its licence claim. Do not deposit.
