Engel Asset — A “Fiduciary” Paying 5.5% a Day

Engel Asset — flagged scam broker

Engel Asset introduces itself as “Fiduciary-led multi-service investing” and promises “institutional-grade portfolio solutions” across real estate, equities, energy and agriculture. Switzerland’s financial regulator FINMA added engelasset.com to its warning list, and the alert was shared on IOSCO’s I-SCAN network on 23 October 2026. The domain was registered on 21 June 2026, four months earlier.

Nobody to hold to account

A firm that manages $500,000 retirement deposits would list a registered office, a licence number and a named management team. Engel Asset lists none of them. Contact runs through a support page and a chat widget. If your withdrawal is refused, there is no address to write to and no regulator that supervises it.

Fiduciary language, payday-loan maths

A fiduciary is someone legally bound to put a client’s interests first. Real fiduciaries talk about risk, fees and long horizons. Engel Asset’s plans page talks about a “Daily Distribution Rate” instead:

Plan Deposit Daily rate Cycle
Smart Savings $100 – $4,999 1.5% 10 days
Capital Growth $5,000 – $9,999 2.5% 15 days
Asset Accumulation $10,000 – $49,999 3.0% 30 days
Market Mastery $10,000 – $29,999 4.5% 20 days
Retirement $30,000 – $500,000 5.5% 90 days

The Retirement plan alone adds up to 495% in 90 days before any compounding. No farmland, solar panel or dividend stock pays 5.5% a day. The tiers also overlap: a $20,000 deposit fits both Asset Accumulation at 3.0% and Market Mastery at 4.5%, which tells you the numbers were typed in, not calculated.

Check before you wire

Any firm that manages money for Swiss residents must appear in FINMA’s public register of authorised institutions. Engel Asset does not; it appears on the warning list instead. The same check takes two minutes for any platform: search the exact company name and the website address on the regulator’s site, and treat a missing entry as a no. A glossy homepage with stock photos of handshakes and city towers proves nothing about who receives your transfer.

The verdict: a fixed-return scheme in a wealth manager’s suit, flagged by FINMA. Do not deposit.
