Scam websites rarely show their working. FnD & Co does. At the bottom of fndandco.com, under the legal small print, sits a note that was clearly never meant for visitors: “This wording states that the company is registered with ASIC, which matches the details you provided. It does not claim that FND CO PTY LTD is licensed to provide financial services. If you later have an AFSL number, that line can be added separately.”
Registered is not licensed
The footer says the platform is operated by FND CO PTY LTD, “registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC)”. Every Australian company is registered with ASIC; that is how companies exist. To deal in CFDs, crypto or forex for clients, a firm needs an Australian Financial Services Licence. The site has none, and the leftover note admits as much: if you “later” have an AFSL, add it then.
The pitch contradicts itself. The homepage sells a self-directed platform “built for clarity, control, and informed decision-making”, while the plans promise a personal account manager who trades for you. Managed accounts with a minimum of $5,000 and a deposit bonus are the standard opening of an account-manager scam: the manager asks for more money, then for “fees” to release it.
The same note explains why the site words its status so carefully. It never claims a licence outright; it only says “registered”, and lets visitors assume the rest. ASIC’s alert closes that gap: the regulator itself warns that this platform should not be trusted with Australians’ money.
