A banner across Kortana FX (kortanafx.com) reads: “We have temporarily paused operations due to losing our MT5 license … all operations are paused until further notice.” Beneath it the site still advertises “$10M+ Paid Out To Traders”, a “Purchase Challenge” button and 7-day withdrawals.
If Kortana FX owes you money
- Do not buy any new challenge while the site is paused.
- Request your balance and payout status in writing.
- Save your dashboard and trade history today.
- Ask your card issuer about disputing fees for services not delivered.
⚠ Warning signs
- Paused after losing its MT5 licence.
- “Purchase Challenge” still live.
- Payout refused over IP rules.
- Support complaints unanswered.
The verdict: a paused prop firm still selling challenges, with earlier payout complaints. Do not buy.
Rules based on IP addresses are often applied only when a payout is due. If Kortana FX raises one, ask for the IP records it used and the clause that applies. Keep your own records of where you traded from, including travel dates if you were away, so you can answer the claim point by point.

What Kortana FX traders reported
Complaints predate the pause. In March 2024 a trader said Kortana was refusing to pay by invoking “IP address rules”. In February 2024 another described failing a 50K challenge, passing phase 1 of a 100K challenge and then failing again in the funded stage, and getting nowhere with support. His thread title says his request for a fair resolution “fell on deaf ears”.

When MetaQuotes withdraws a prop firm’s MT5 access, the firm can no longer run its evaluations on that platform. Selling challenges while operations are paused leaves new buyers with nothing to trade on.
