The regulator it names has warned about it

Markets Pick borrows the name of Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission for its trust badge. The SFC has now put the site on its own warning list. A firm the SFC really licensed would appear on the SFC’s public register with its own website — not on the list of suspicious sites.

A licence number you cannot use

“ATJ437” looks like an SFC central entity number. Anyone can type three letters and three digits. The only test that counts is searching the number on the SFC register and checking that the website listed there is the one you are on.

⚠ Verified evidence

250,000 traders in four months

The domain was registered on 8 June 2026. A broker that really had a quarter of a million active clients would not have a four-month-old website and a regulator warning.

Arabic-first marketing

The site opens in Arabic and runs a news ticker in Arabic. Fake “licensed” brokers aimed at Arabic speakers usually move victims to WhatsApp, where pressure to deposit more begins.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.

What to do if you paid Markets Pick

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: Markets Pick’s licence badge is contradicted by the regulator it names. Do not deposit.
