Prorex: Saint Vincent IBC Is Not a Trading Licence

Prorex_SCAM_prorexglobal

Verdict up front: Prorex offers trading from prorexglobal.com on the strength of a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company registration. That is an incorporation certificate, not a financial licence — and Saint Vincent’s regulator does not license forex dealing at all. No published regulator warning naming this domain could be located.

Verified evidence (checked 1 September 2026)

  • No published warning could be located naming prorexglobal.com at the FCA, BaFin, CONSOB, CNMV, FINMA, ASIC, the CFTC or SEC, FSMA Belgium, AMF France, the Canadian provincial regulators or California’s DFPI.
  • What it actually holds is an IBC registration. Prorex is reported to claim registration in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. An International Business Company registration confirms a company exists; it is not authorisation to deal in forex or CFDs.
  • Saint Vincent’s FSA does not license forex trading. Its regulator has publicly stated it does not regulate or supervise forex or binary-options business, so no SVG entity can hold such a licence.
  • Domain age: prorexglobal.com was created 28 August 2024 (registrar GoDaddy.com).
  • Complaints circulating online relate to a different domain. The withdrawal complaints attached to the Prorex name are filed against prorex.asia. Common ownership between the two has not been verified. Sources: Verisign registry record; regulator warning lists as searched on 1 September 2026.

What is Prorex?

A trading platform operating at prorexglobal.com. Third-party broker directories associate the Prorex name with several domains. Its publicly reported regulatory basis is a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines company registration.

Why an SVG registration is not what it sounds like

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a popular jurisdiction for trading platforms for one reason: an International Business Company forms quickly and cheaply there, and the certificate looks official. But the island’s Financial Services Authority has stated publicly that it does not license, regulate or supervise forex or binary-options trading. No firm can hold an SVG forex licence, because no such licence exists. A platform presenting SVG paperwork as its regulatory credential is presenting a company-formation document.

What we are not saying

No regulator anywhere has published a warning about prorexglobal.com that we could find. That is not a clean bill of health — regulators warn about firms that reach their attention, and a platform can operate unauthorised for a long time without generating a notice. But it means this article rests on weaker footing than others we publish, and we would rather say so than inflate it. Equally, the withdrawal complaints circulating under the Prorex name are filed against prorex.asia, a different domain. We are not attributing them here.

What this leaves you with

A platform whose regulatory claim, examined, is a company-formation document from a jurisdiction that does not regulate the activity. No compensation scheme covers it, no ombudsman will hear a complaint, and no regulator has assessed it. That is the shape of the risk.

Check it for yourself

Nothing above depends on trusting us. Search the name on Google, ask ChatGPT, and run the register checks named in the evidence box. A regulator warning takes about a minute to confirm on the regulator’s own website, and that minute is the cheapest due diligence available to any investor.

For this platform specifically: search the FCA Warning List and the registers of the other regulators named above for Prorex and for prorexglobal.com — you should find nothing, as we did. Then read Saint Vincent and the Grenadines FSA’s own public statements on whether it regulates forex.

If you have already deposited

Act on paper, not on hope. Save every screenshot, chat log, email, payment reference and wallet address before the platform can close your account — once access goes, so does your evidence. Report the loss to your national financial regulator and to your police force’s fraud unit. Tell your bank or card issuer immediately; where funds moved by card or transfer within recent weeks, a recall or chargeback is sometimes still possible. If you paid in cryptocurrency, the transaction cannot be reversed, but the receiving address is permanent evidence and exchanges can sometimes freeze onward movement.

Then brace for the second approach. Victims of investment fraud are frequently contacted again by people offering to recover the money for an upfront fee, sometimes posing as lawyers, regulators or the platform’s own compliance department. That is a second fraud aimed at the same victim. No legitimate recovery service, and no regulator anywhere, asks for a payment before returning your funds.

The bottom line

No regulator warning naming this domain could be located, and we say so plainly. What can be established is that its stated regulatory basis is an offshore company registration from a jurisdiction that does not license forex dealing — which means no authority is standing behind your deposit. Verify before you fund an account, and keep records if you already have.
