Prices that do not move

The homepage price table shows GBP/USD with the same bid and ask, 1.08328, while claiming a spread of 0.30. A buy price equal to the sell price is not a market. It is a picture of one. Real brokers stream live prices; this table is decoration.

Leverage regulators do not allow

1:500 leverage is far above the limits set for retail clients in Australia, the UK and the EU, where major currency pairs are capped at 1:30. Offering it is a sign that the firm does not answer to any of those regulators.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • ASIC warning, 13 July 2026.
  • Price table with bid equal to ask.
  • 1:500 leverage for retail clients.
  • No company, licence or regulator named.

‘Professional CFD trading’

The site says “we stand for professional CFD trading” but names no company, no licence number and no regulator. Zero spreads and zero fees sound generous; they are what a platform promises when it never actually places your trades.

Warned in Australia

ASIC’s warning means Quantara Markets is not licensed to offer financial services there. A real broker would list its licence where you can check it.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.

What to do if you paid Quantara Markets

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: Quantara Markets shows frozen prices and an impossible offer, and ASIC has warned about it. Do not deposit.
