Valora Financial Bank looks like a bank. It has checking accounts, savings “up to 4.85% AER”, certificates of deposit, mortgages and a titanium card. It says savings are “backed by FSCS-protected securities”. It is not a bank the FCA recognises: the FCA has warned about valorafinancialbank.com (IOSCO I-SCAN, checked 21 October 2026). The domain was registered on 28 June 2026.
British words, American numbers
The page mixes two banking systems. “AER” and FSCS protection are British. “APY”, “APR”, “CD rates”, dollar minimums and a testimonial from “Boston, MA” are American. A real UK bank is authorised by the PRA and listed on the FCA register; a real US bank is FDIC-insured and listed by the FDIC. Valora appears on neither as a bank — it appears on an FCA warning.

If you opened an account
Stop transfers today and phone your real bank’s fraud team. If you sent identity documents to Valora, tell your bank and register with a fraud-prevention service, because a fake bank can use them to open accounts in your name. Do not log in again from a link they send you.

FAKE BANK
- Savings: “up to 4.85% AER” — “VIP Wealth tiers” up to 12.00% APY
- Claims: “FSCS-protected securities”
- Minimum deposit: $50
- Mortgages: 30-year fixed at 6.25% APR
- Warning: FCA (UK)
- Domain registered: 28 June 2026 — under four months old
12% savings is the tell
No genuine bank pays 12% on savings. The “VIP Wealth” tier is the hook: open a small account, see interest appear, then move larger sums for the higher rate. The site’s language — “sovereign liquidity checks across fully audited configurations” — sounds official and means nothing.
⚠ Checks Valora Financial Bank fails
- FCA warning on IOSCO I-SCAN.
- Claims FSCS protection while not authorised.
- Savings rates up to 12% APY.
- UK and US banking terms mixed on one page.
The verdict: a fake bank built to look safe. Close nothing else down to fund it, and report it.
