The phone call is the product
The homepage’s main promise is that a “trading expert” will call you. That call is where pressure begins: bigger deposits, “special” trades and later fees to withdraw. Licensed brokers do not cold-sell trades to new clients.
Bank logos as decoration
Under the banner sit logos of Morgan Stanley, Nomura and Wells Fargo, presented as liquidity providers. Logos are free to copy. None of those banks is named as a partner anywhere you can check.

Help with your bank
A “Personal Assistant to do Bank Transactions” sounds helpful. In practice it means a stranger guiding you through transfers — sometimes with remote-access software on your device. Never let a broker’s staff handle your banking.
15 years, no regulator
The site claims fifteen years of experience. It names no regulator, licence or company. Plans are sold like phone contracts, all at 1:200 “Levrage”.
How to check
Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.
What to do if you paid Ocean8FX
- Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
- Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
- Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
- Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
- Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.
The verdict: Ocean8FX’s business is the phone call that follows sign-up. Do not register.
