Theta Holding (theta-holding.com) calls itself “the safest place to trade” and offers forex, crypto, stocks, CFDs, commodities and futures. It claims more than two million active traders and fifty million transactions. The Dutch financial regulator, the AFM, warned about Theta Holding, and the warning was republished by Estonia’s financial supervisor on 10 March 2026.
Awards older than the website
The site lists industry awards from 2016, 2018 and 2021, including Global Forex Broker of the Year. The domain theta-holding.com was registered on 22 May 2024. A broker cannot win prizes years before it exists. These award lists are copied between template sites because they look impressive and few readers check them.
The two million traders claim fails the same test. A platform that size would be known, reviewed and supervised. Theta Holding names no regulator at all. Its menu has a page called Regulation, yet the footer gives no licence number anywhere.

Read the address slowly. Chicago is a city, Melbourne is spelled wrong, and neither is a street. The phone number begins with +88, the dialling code used in Bangladesh, for a firm that says it is in the United States. Nobody who runs a real brokerage writes an address like that.
