A London address that means nothing

VortexFx UK Limited “facilitates payments” from 128 City Road, London — a virtual-office address used by tens of thousands of companies. A UK company is not FCA authorisation. The FCA register is where to check, and the broker does not point you there.

The real broker is offshore

The Sotheby Building in Rodney Bay is a registered-agent address in Saint Lucia. Many unrelated trading brands list it as their “registered office”. A Saint Lucia business company registration is not a licence to handle investors’ money.

⚠ Verified evidence

  • Listed on the BrokersView (FastBull) scam broker list.
  • London virtual-office company plus Saint Lucia IBC.
  • Claims $29 billion a day; no licence.
  • Domain registered 11 May 2017.

29 billion a day

The site quotes “29 billion USD in FX trades processed daily”, “100,000 trades per day” and an NY4 data centre. These figures describe big liquidity providers, not this firm. None is backed by an audit or a regulator.

Prop capital and social trading

Vortex FX also sells “Prop Capital”, signals and a social-trading product. Each is a separate way to take a fee or a deposit before any trading results exist.

How to check

Search the firm’s exact name and web address on the register of the regulator in your own country, and on IOSCO’s I-SCAN list. A real broker shows a licence number you can look up in under a minute — and the regulator’s own register links back to the broker’s real website.

What to do if you paid Vortex FX

  • Stop sending money — no “tax”, “release fee” or “upgrade” will unlock a withdrawal.
  • Keep every record: receipts, wallet addresses, emails and chat screenshots.
  • Call your bank or card issuer today and ask about a chargeback or recall.
  • Report it to the regulator that issued the warning and to your local police.
  • Ignore anyone who offers to recover the money for an upfront fee.

The verdict: Vortex FX’s London address is for show; the broker is an unlicensed offshore company. Do not deposit.
